Eleanor is 11 months old!

Cohen's 4th birthday!

That is one excited little boy!

And his daddy was pretty pumped, too!

Happy little sister!

Having fun flying the spaceships with his cousin, Jaxson!

His AWESOME cake! (And it was DELICIOUS, too!)

The birthday boy!

The family pic with all of us decked out in our TMNT gear!

Papa and Cohen hanging out!

Blowing out the candles!

Cutting the cake so he could enjoy it!

Papa and Eleanor!
I took this picture as he was eating supper the night before his birthday. He is such a silly goose!

His birthday survey for this year! I love his answers!

His Ninja Turtle pancake the morning of his birthday!

Such a happy 4-year-old!
Cohen's 4th birthday party was at The Kiddie Park this year, on Saturday, August 9th.  He had a wonderful time and was so glad that his friends (and his cousins) could come and enjoy it with him! Will had to be in Houston on his actual birthday, so after breakfast that day (of course, I had to make him birthday pancakes!), we loaded up and went to Houston. Well, we actually went and spent the afternoon and evening in Kemah at the Boardwalk - and I'll post pictures of that adventure as soon as I get all of the pictures from my mom! ;) Stay tuned! All in all, I'd say he had a VERY happy birthday!

Fun around the house!

Wyatt came over to play last week. This picture makes me laugh because it looks like Cohen and Wyatt are having a staring contest!

My sweets!

Wyatt and Eleanor didn't really know what to think of one another at first!

But Wyatt eventually made himself at home!

They had fun playing with one another!

Mmm...lunch time!

This girl has got some crazy hair these days!

The window in our living room gives off a beautiful natural light in the late afternoon and as Eleanor was climbing all over me, I caught this picture of her sweet face. Both of my babies (and Wyatt, too, actually) all have the most beautiful eyelashes!

This is the result of cradle cap treatment that will NOT wash out. Even after two shampoos! Poor thing! That's some wild hair!

Eleanor's first Build A Bear Workshop experience!

Checking out the fluff!

Cohen was in charge of the stuffing!

Happy girl!

Giving her new bear sweet hugs...

...and patting him so soft!
Build A Bear Workshop debuted their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mr. Cohen just HAD to go and make one, so when Melinda was in town a few weeks ago, she (we) took the kids to let Cohen "build" one. When we got there, Miss Eleanor went all goo-goo eyed over all the bears and puppies - well and all the softness in general! We decided she should probably go ahead and make one, too! She picked a big fluffy, velvety bear and we got in line to stuff him. Cohen was in charge of stuffing both his Ninja Turtle and her bear and then the girl sewed them up and handed them over. Cohen was excited, don't get me wrong, but what happened next was THE sweetest thing I've ever seen! Eleanor hugged that bear like she had been waiting all of her life for him - hugged him so tight and then started patting his back like he was her long-lost best friend! It was so innocent and sweet and definitely an experience I won't soon forget. Needless to say, she may sleep with her little pink bunny, but her big brown bear has also found a permanent place in her crib with her and there have been countless times I've checked in on her and seen her using him as a pillow!
