This little monkey was jumping on the bed! (It's his favorite thing to do in hotel rooms!) |
I could eat him up, I love him so! |
He loves to wear that cap backwards! Walking to the stadium... |
"Wook at the huge baseball!" |
Playing some games inside the Kid's Club at Rangers Stadium! |
Getting a Rangers fake tattoo! He was so excited about that silly thing! |
GREAT seats! |
The entire week before the game, all Cohen could talk about was getting some popcorn at the Rangers game! |
Mmm...nachos are pretty good, too! |
...and this is where Cohen sat almost the entirety of the three innings we were there. Nice. |

At least he's cute! |
On May 18, we drove to DFW to take Cohen to his first Texas Rangers game at the actual Arlington stadium. It took us forever to get there because of all the traffic on I-35 and it was hotter than the dickens. We thought he'd enjoy it because Will bought great seats right close to the field and right off of the third-base corner. Needless to say, he was already chanting "Let's go home. Let's go home." by the end of the second inning. We were amused, though, by the drunken hillbilly sitting behind us shouting (in slurred words) "Let's go Rangers" which Will said sounded like "Ice cold banjos" and Cohen thought he was saying "Let's go rain show" so we all got a pretty good laugh out of that. We finished up our night by taking a bicycle-cab back to the car and when we asked Cohen what his favorite part of the night was, he said the bike-ride. Oh boy. SOOOO, summing that up: Third-base tickets to see the Rangers, $200. Food, drinks, and souvenirs, $100. Bike-cab back to the car, $20. Seeing our child with the wind blowing his hair back, thoroughly enjoying a bike-cab-ride, priceless!
